Loose != Lose

Since I'm at it ...

Loose, meaning "not tight" or free, does not mean the same thing as lose, meaning to misplace or to "not win".

You should also mention "separatism", which 99% of all Canadian bloggers regularly spell "seperatism". The same is true of "separatist", "separate", etc.

Canada really has a lot of bad spellers if the Canadian blogosphere is anything to go by.

Or what about their, there, and they're? Or here and hear? Or competent? Or instant? Or surprise?

Reading the Glob and Maul comments section will make your skin crawl!

This is what bugs me most:

Breath is a noun.
Breathe is a verb.

NO THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE.

How about "Werner Patels," which most people spell "kook."

Seeing the kind of stuff you put on your blog, big fat hairy ape dave aka David Ellis, kook is a term more fittingly applied to you than anyone else. Just thinking out loud ...

Exactly. I pisses me off how often I see 'loose' used to mean 'lose'. Doh!
